Does my already certified product have to be RSPO compliant (glycerin) the next time it is recertified?<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-cd79\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>No. You can have your already certified product recertified again with the original recipe, provided that all other NATRUE requirements are met. Only after this next period does glycerin have to be of RSPO quality.<\/p>\n<p>This also applies to raw materials!<\/p>\n<p>An example:<\/p>\n<p>My product contains glycerin from palm oil, which is not from RSPO quality yet. This product expires on April 28, 2024 and is scheduled for recertification. This product can be recertified for the next 2 years without any problems and without having to adjust the formula\/raw material. From April 29, 2026, if this product is to be extended, it must then use RSPO quality glycerin.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"se05\"><button class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-se05\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">From when must NATRUE products consist exclusively of recognized, certified or organic raw materials?<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-se05\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><ul>\n<li>From 01 July <u>2024<\/u>, all <u>newly notified<\/u> products must be made from approved, certified or organic raw materials.<\/li>\n<li>Already certified products can maintain their current status also after re-certification if the recipe\/INCIs, name etc. remain unchanged. See Technical Guide (Download section) for detailed information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"le75\"><button class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-le75\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">When reporting new products, is the reporting date the cut-off date here or the label use date?<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-le75\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><ul>\n<li>The reporting date is the decisive date here.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"rf15\"><button class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-rf15\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">Which raw materials must be included in the recognition or certification process?<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-rf15\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><ul>\n<li>All raw materials to be used after July 1, 2024, must enter the recognition or certification process. There are exceptions only for the following raw materials:\n<ul>\n<li>Nature-identical raw materials according to NATRUE positive list<\/li>\n<li>Custom raw materials produced for a <em>single<\/em> customer only. These may then also not be sold to other customers under a different name.\n<ul>\n<li>Here, raw material testing takes place with the usual documents, as has been the case up to now with product testing. However, an exclusivity certificate must be available from the raw material manufacturer. The template for such a certificate is available from us upon request.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Raw materials that are of organic origin and are produced according to an IFOAM family (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifoam.bio\/sites\/default\/files\/2022-06\/FamilyFrame_2020_June%202022.pdf\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>) have been certified by a recognized certification body.\n<ul>\n<li>These raw materials are NATRUE compliant per se and can be used as before even after submission of the organic certificate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"sf8e\"><button class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-sf8e\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">What about perfumes that are customized?<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-sf8e\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><ul>\n<li>For custom perfumes, a certificate of exclusivity is required as for all other custom raw materials. As before, the verification of conformity is evaluated during product testing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"kffd\"><button class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-kffd\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">I have a raw material that is designated as organic according to an IFOAM Organic Standard, but the processing of the raw material, labeling or decanting is not covered in the organic certificate. Does this raw material then also have to enter the recognition or certification procedure?<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-kffd\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><ul>\n<li>Yes, if the raw material is to continue to be listed as a bioresource, it must be certified in accordance with NATRUE guidelines. This requires a document check plus a one-time on-site audit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"o069\"><button class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-o069\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">I have a raw material that consists of two different raw materials, but only one of them is organic quality. What is the situation here? Does the raw material have to go through the recognition or certification process?<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-o069\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><ul>\n<li>Here you have the choice as a raw material producer. If you want to advertise the raw material with organic percentage, then it must go through the certification procedure (document check plus one-time audit). If you only want to have the raw material included in the NATRUE database and no organic content is to be advertised, then you can also have the raw material recognized simply by means of a document check.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"u0e0\"><button class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-u0e0\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">I have a raw material certified organic according to IFOAM standard that I would like to publish on the NATRUE database. How do I proceed here?<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-u0e0\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><ul>\n<li>Organic raw materials are NATRUE compliant per se. In this case, registration on the NATRUE raw material database is not necessary but possible. Please submit your raw materials incl. Organic certificate. Your raw materials will then appear on the NATRUE database among the approved raw materials with the indication &#8220;100% Organic&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>You can then also use the NATRUE label to identify your raw materials. However, please note that the seal may only appear with the addition &#8220;NATRUE Approved&#8221;. You can find more details in the NATRUE Label Usage Guidelines under point 2.2.3 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.natrue.org\/uploads\/2020\/10\/English_NATRUE-Label-Usage-Guidelines_v2-2021.pdf\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"i14f\"><button class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-i14f\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">I have a GreenLife certificate (Cosmos) for some raw materials, does this also count as organic proof?<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-i14f\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><ul>\n<li>Please see detailed information about this situation in the Technical Guide (download section).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"f1ba\"><button class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-f1ba\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">What to do if the raw material producer does not want to enter the recognition process?<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-f1ba\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><ul>\n<li>If the raw material manufacturer does not want to enter the NATRUE recognition process, e.g. because of the costs, then you as a cosmetics producer can initiate the recognition or certification process and bear the costs for this. However, the NATRUE license agreement must be concluded directly with the raw material manufacturer.<\/li>\n<li>Please be aware that the raw material will be visible to all NATRUE customers on the NATRUE DB.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_col-sm-2 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"FAQ NATRUE Glycerin from palm oil or palm kernel oil and derivatives must now also come from RSPO quality.
